What is the Baskin-Robbins Joy in Childhood Foundation?
The Baskin-Robbins Joy in Childhood Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 organization powered by
Baskin-Robbins and the generosity of our franchisees, partners, crew members, employees, and guests. The
mission of the Foundation is to bring joy to kids battling hunger or illness. We do this by providing grants
to national and local nonprofit organizations, making a difference in the communities we serve. Our
signature program is the Pint-Sized Heroes program.
Pint-Sized Heroes brings happiness and smiles to children that are facing challenges and receiving care at
children’s hospitals across the country. Pint-Sized Heroes are celebrated at their hospital and receive free
ice cream for a year in addition to receiving an honorary $31,000 grant in their name for the hospital where
they receive treatment. Each Hero helps the care team at the hospital determine ways these funds can be used
to bring happiness to other pediatric patients.
